Aung Kyaw Oo is the founder of Coca Media. He is also an executive committee member of the Advertising Agencies Association of Myanmar. As one of the seasoned personality in the advertising industry of Myanmar, Aung Kyaw Oo also helped Y&R (WPP Agency) to start their operation in Myanmar in 2013 as one the stakeholders.
He worked as a freelance advertising consultant during the year 2007-2011 and worked for AA Medical for their leading brands Oramin G, Oramin F, Daily Vitagin and worked for R Oasis for their leading brands Royal D, Mercid, Paracap, and Throatsil.
By establishing Coca Media, Aung Kyaw Oo has been providing best in class media solutions to lot lo renowned brands including Colgate Palmolive, Cereboss Thailand, AA Medial Products Ltd, R Oasis, Myanmar Oasis, AGD Bank, One Kyat, Vivo, Hitachi, Epson over the time.
He also helped to establish Mango Media in 2004 and lead the team as a media manager till 2006, and he was instrumental in building the strong business relationship with key media suppliers of Myanmar for the agency.
Aung Kyaw Oo had started his advertising career with Myanmar SPA Today Far East in 1996 and worked till 1999 before he joined Bates & Zenith Media Myanmar (Omnicom Agency) as a media strategist. He was responsible for media planning and buying for some clients such as BAT, Myanmar Breweries, AA Medical, Kotra Pharma, CB Bank, RADO & TISSOT watch, Jumbo Mosquitoes Coil, Ovaltine, Unilever, Happy Cow Dairy Foods, to name a few. He received the Best Negotiator Award from Managing Director in 2000 for his excellent negotiation skills.
He started his career in Sales and Operation with Today Tourism Magazine (Pioneer English Travel Magazines in Myanmar) and Paloke Toke (Kid’s Magazine) in 1994 and gained experience in Media Sales.
Aung Kyaw Oo completed his graduation in 1993 with Bachelor of Engineering Degree from Rangoon Institute of Technology, which was the best University in Myanmar under Ministry of Education.
